Renegade Handmade Holiday Sale

Ok it's finally here Renegade Handmade Holiday Sale. Over 150 Vendors at Pulaski Park Field house Sat and Sunday Dec. 6th and 7th from 11am to 7pm. This is your chance to find the most unique gift for your special people this year. Not only will I be there but there will be printed shirts, stationary, jewelry, etc. Also, the first 100 people on both days get a goody bag that the vendors donated samples of there work! So come early! I will have all new limited edition pendants also!

Last Southport Market this Year

So this Saturday is the last Southport market this year. So you need to come out and see the wonderful fruits, veggies, flowers, meat, and of course handmade goods! I will be there! The Market is open on Saturday October the 18th from 8:00 am to noon. So if you haven't got up early this summer on a Saturday this Saturday is your chance to redeem yourself and feel good! Located in the Blaine school Parking lot on Grace and Southport. Hope to see you there!

Summer on Southport

If you are in the Chicago area July 20th, 2008, come check the Chicago Style Crafters and me at the Summer on Southport Fest! There will be art and craft vendors, food, kid's activities, and live music. Located at 3700 N. Southport, Chicago it is actually a 2 day show July 19th and 20th, however I will only be there on Sunday. The fest hours are:
Saturday 10:00am-10:00pm
Sunday 10:00am-9:00pm

Southport Green Market

Come out Tomorrow Saturday July 12th to The Southport Green Market. I will be there selling my beautiful items along with fellow Chicago Style Crafters including, Jill Hannah and The Cranky Pickle! The Market will also have fresh farmers produce. So come out and get some handmade wares and food for a meal to cook Sat. night! I am horrible at keeping my blog up, and so much has happened. March was a bit uneventful concerning my crafting and such. However My family is blessed to meet my nephew Albert! My sister's second child such a cutie! He is now One month old! Who cannot love that face!

MyCozyCreations Makes the best Headbands in the world. I just love them so much I have purchased at least 6 from her! She will work with you and make it as wide or as large as you want! I personally like the skinny ones, I think I have a smaller head than most people, haha. Any way if there is a color combo you like she will look for fabric for you. She is the best seller ever. I wear one of her handmade headbands every day they are classy and the best part about them the are reversible so really I have 12 headbands for the price of 6 so cool! December Show

January Show

My first craft show was in December. I did fairly well selling mostly teacup candles and many candle tins. Then my second show was in January. I sold tons of candle tins and many tea lights. I am on the waiting list for February, and will definitely be in the March show. The craft show is located at the Empty Bottle in Chicago, the second Saturday of the winter months. My second show I got interviewed for a TV show named the Naked Hippo. That was so cool and I hope I see it.

A New Year

Well It's a new year and my shop has been up and running for a little over 2 months. I have sold 84 items and Etsy admin's published me in a Storque article. Here is the link to check it out:

I seem to have many more international buyers, which is so wonderful to know my candles are all over the World!

I am now a part of several Etsy groups:

Illinois Street Team ( A lower key group but again a great way to meet new people around my hometown!)

Trashion ( Is about visualizing beauty in unconventional objects and materials. What a great way to reuse, recycle, and make it a better place for everyone through art!)

I am really getting to be a workaholic. I work 80 hours plus a week on my at home business. It's crazy. When I am not working I am thinking about working and what I should be doing. Christmas break was really hard being away from my ability to make candles!
